If Jesus needed to pray to the Father, how much more do you and I need to pray to him?

I encourage you to spend time with your Heavenly Father.  Just love him and Worship him.   Yes bring a shopping list but don't let that be you main reason.  He does say to cast all our cares on him.

  But we need to just spend time in his presence.  Some would say when I do spend time alone my mind wanders all over the place.  That's OK, hey were living in this world and all day long we are dealing with the things of this world.  When the thoughts come into your mind let them pass right on by and keep focusing on God!

Psalm 69 says "I will praise God's name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving.  This will please the Lord more than an ox, more than a bull with its horns and hoofs.  The poor will see and be glad, you who seek God, may your hearts live!"

This says that the LORD is more pleased with us coming to him and just loving and worshipping him more than our pity offerings of good tidings etc. 

So again I encourage you to come apart awhile and spend time with our Heavenly Father.
